This strategic role has been established by the SJRU Board to help drive participation growth in junior rugby across Sydney. Key objectives include improving coaching standards, enhancing the representative player experience, and expanding access to diverse and inclusive playing formats.![]()

The Director of Rugby will play a vital role in bridging grassroots development with high-performance mentoring. Through innovative program design and close collaboration with clubs and coaches, this role is central to building the next generation of rugby talent in Sydney.![]()

Harry brings deep experience and passion to the position. He played junior rugby in Sydney for nearly 13 years, representing Sydney Juniors at the U14, U15, U16, and U18 levels, and earning selection for Australian Schools in his final two years of high school. At the senior level, Harry played over 95 First Grade games for Warringah Rugby Club and went on to play professionally for both the NSW Waratahs and Toyota Shokki in Japan.![]()

Off the field, Harry has led the Warringah High Performance Academy and coached various junior and school representative teams. His proven leadership, rugby acumen, and dedication to the development of young players make him an outstanding fit for this role.![]()
